Phlegmariurus cf. hippurideus

Phlegmariurus cf. hippurideus is a very rare lycopod from the Ecuadorian highland moss forests. It is quite easy to grow if kept in moderately moist sphagnum moss, avoiding excessive wetness. Temperatures should be kept low, but it can also tolerate higher temperatures.

The plant may be shipped unpotted if it is beneficial for safe transport.

This plant is an import but has new fronds/leaves and is well rooted.
